So i pulled the plenum and valve covers, cleaned everything up, re sealed the covers, and did a compression test here are the numbers

1-165
2-210
3-165
4-210
5-164
6-166

numbers 2 and 4 were high because there was still oil left in those cylinders. I had bought some iridium spark plugs from specialty z, i decided to take those out since 2 of them were drenched in oil, and i put in my old ngk's, put the plenum back on, changed the oil and restarted my car. It sounded like it was knocking like crazy on the bottom so I shut it off. Now here is the crazy part, I go in my house to grab the phone and call kyle so I can have him hear the noise. Get him on the line and I start her up, and wtf!!!!! noise is gone and she is purring like a kitten!!!!! the exhaust smoked a bit cuz of the oil left in the cylinders, but she idled perfectly with about 28 to 30 psi oil pressure. I really dont understand what could have happened. Kyle said that there might be a lifter sticking here and there since my engine did sit for a year in his shop, and that does make sense, but what about the oil in the cylinders??? well my theory is this: when i started the motor after first reinstalling it i let the car run at 2000 rpm for 20 min and then changed the oil, but i jacked the front of the car up to do so and from what i can remember not a lot of oil came out, i then refilled with 4 quarts. Is it possible that somehow there was extra oil in there maybe about 2 quarts??? and somehow that oil went in the heads and through the valves into the pistons????? and maybe the sound i heard yesterday was the car detonating cuz of the oil in the cylinders???? I drove the car today for about 20 miles and she is runnig great, I will however do another compression test tomorrow once all that oil has burnt away so I can have a better idea of what is going on. I'll post again tomorrow with results. Anyway a big load came off my chest when she ran right again.
